Why Titan? Unlike its icy neighbors, Titan stands out with its thick, hazy atmosphere—the only moon in our solar system with a substantial atmosphere. This distinctive feature, combined with its lakes of liquid methane and complex weather patterns, makes Titan more planet-like than any other moon.

📸 Improved Photo Documentation via WhatsApp​

We've enhanced our WhatsApp bot with a new feature: "📸Take Photos." This menu option allows Msg users to quickly attach photos to a project directly from their mobile device. Once uploaded, these photos are automatically converted into tickets and are also available in the project’s photo gallery.

📄 Improved Document Page on Mobile Devices​

We've significantly enhanced the document experience on mobile by replacing the previous horizontally scrollable table—which was difficult to navigate and not optimized for smaller screens—with a mobile-first layout. This new version introduces a clean, vertically stacked format that improves readability, touch responsiveness, and accessibility.

A new selection mechanism also makes it simple to pick multiple documents with tap-and-hold gestures—perfect for quick actions like bulk downloads or ticket creation.

You can now access our new Help Center where you'll find useful information, guides, and answers to frequently asked questions. The Help Center is designed to help you get the most out of the platform and resolve common issues quickly.

You can find step-by-step tutorials, troubleshooting guides, and best practices all in one convenient location. The Help Center is continuously updated with new content based on user feedback and commonly requested information.

📱 Emojis for Ticket Updates​

Ticket updates in WhatsApp now come with emojis to make them easier to scan at a glance: 🔔 for due dates, 🆕 for new tickets, 👤 when you're added, and 💬 for comments. Just a small touch that adds clarity (and maybe also a bit of fun 💃).

📩 Submit Your PDF Reports​

While we are actively working on a comprehensive overhaul of our reporting system, this will take time to complete. In the meantime, users can send us their paper-based reports in PDF format. For a small processing fee, we will convert them into fully functional digital reports within the system.

Every release comes with a host of behind-the-scenes improvements that don’t always make the spotlight—but they matter. For this update we will give you a small look behind the scenes:

🐞 Fixes​

  • Fixed: Resolved an issue where the PDF viewer failed to load certain reports on mobile
  • Fixed: Resolved an issue causing pages to appear blank under some conditions
  • Fixed: Resolved an issue where slow internet speeds combined with big uploads of 20+ files could lead to delivery failures
  • Fixed: Resolved an issue where excess line breaks appeared when pasting text into the ticket description
  • Fixed: Resolved spacing issues with the message input field in the chat feed on mobile devices

💎 Improvements​

  • Improved: Enhanced the ticket interface by expanding the drag-and-drop area, allowing to upload images and files more efficiently and quicker
  • Improved: Time entry export functionality has been enhanced to preserve line breaks within description fields
  • Improved: Improved the process for adding categories directly within the ticket interface
  • Improved: Standard categories are now automatically preselected in order to streamline the setup process when creating a new project

✨ Misc​

  • Added a new introduction video in WhatsApp for new users, walking them through our latest features
  • Added a login button to the Valoon web app directly on our homepage at valoon.chat

💬 Corporate Messaging​

Foundational elements for the project chat have been established, preparing the groundwork.

🧼 Fix for Blank Page Bug & PDF-Viewer​

Resolved an issue where some users encountered a blank page under specific conditions. Also added a legacy version of pdf.js for better compatibility across devices.

🌍 Reworked Translations​

We’ve improved and expanded our translations. Main goal of this update was to improve same language cases (e.g., DE to DE) and improve the consistency of language recognition.

📱 R&D: PWA / Native App Development​

Progress continued on our research into progressive web apps (PWA) and especially a native mobile app. This work is part of our long-term strategy.
