Release 1.15.0 - Deimos

Why Deimos? Deimos is the second and smaller of the two moons of Mars. Unlike Phobos, which will eventually crash into Mars, Deimos is slowly moving away from Mars. It is also barely visible from Mars - similar to the visibility of Venus from Earth.

πŸ“„ Scan Documents​

Our big new feature in this release! We've seen how time-consuming it can be to take photos of your reports, clean them up, crop them and create a consistent PDF. This is now a thing of the past! Create a document type and your WhatsApp users can use our new 'scan document' flow from the menu, take a photo and send it off for processing. Our internal magic will brighten the images, cut the DINA4s to size and append them to a PDF that you can find in the Documents section. On top of that you get in-app notifications when new scans are added.

We have once again set out to make your Kanban boards even better. This release has some important new features that are sure to improve productivity on all boards:

  • The cards in the kanban board are now cleaned up to show only the information you need to see in a structured way

  • The category order in the kanban card preview is now always consistent
  • Kanban view is now saved so that it is retained across sessions

ℹ️ Loading indicators for batch processing​

Some things can take a little time - archiving 200 tickets at once only takes a second or two, but Valoon seemed unresponsive during that time. To better show you that work is being done in the background, we have added load indicators so you know the software is working hard (for your success 😎).

PDF Viewer improvements​

We have streamlined the PDF viewer for mobile screens. The number of items in the top bar has been removed and you can now save the document directly by clicking the disc icon!

Improved reply function​

We have changed the response mechanism for WhatsApp ticket notifications. The process is now streamlined through our mobile view (Msg View), available through the buttons on the update messages. This change has already been rolled out and we have explained the change to all message users with a video message on WhatsApp!

Ticket notifications are now more sophisticated. You will also receive in-app notifications of changes to the status field of tickets assigned to you. You will also be notified when a user adds new attachments - so you can stay up to date!

Russian language support​

Our bot VooπŸ€– now also speaks Russian. ΠŸΡ€ΠΈΠ²Π΅Ρ‚! πŸ‘‹
